When Charlotte first contacted me, I wasn’t too sure about her idea. I asked some friends what they thought of the idea of a day of the dead skull head nurse. I even asked a client who’s a nurse. Personally I think that the nurse symbolizes the opposite of the skull and I was nervous to ink this image on someone. My husband thought it was funny, so I understood that the french sense of humor was in play here. The french find humor in the ironic, also in the insolent. So I planned to have a little chat with Charlotte when she came in for her consultation. I explained how I was nervous about doing the tattoo and she assured me that she had thought it all out and it was important to her. She has experience with death and is passionate about her work. I think the results are pretty cute.
this is really cool and i love the element of irony, rest assured sunny, another fantastic design tattooed!
Merci pour mon super tatouage qui fait des ravages !! j’ai vraiment adoré ces sessions tatouages pleines de discussions intéressantes, de bonne musique et de bonne douleur 🙂
à bientôt !
I’ve been searching for a tattoo like this. It not only had the day of the dead tradition but also my passion for nursing. As soon as I finish nursing school I’m want to get a tattoo like this. I believe I was born to be a nurse and I’ll die one.
Great job!!
