This past June I was invited to open a temporary tattoo shop in Rouen for a festival called Armada. Rouen is located on the river Seine (closer to the coast than Paris). Armada is a huge maritime festival. Large sailboats from all over the world come to show off and welcome fans aboard. The cultural center “106” commissioned a cabaret theatre piece for the festival and I was there in the lobby to “entertain” the people before the show!
Everything was set up for me in advance. A nice cozy little space decorated with mid century antiques! I had an apartment with an indoor swimming pool and a bicycle to get around town with. Royal treatment:)
